I talked up multiple salespeople and had a few take down my information on which one I wanted.
Posted by u/NiftyEuropean - 95 votes and 64 comments Rolex has done nothing to acknowledge this major flaw in this new movement and my advice to anyone looking to buy a new Rolex with a 32** movement would be to stay clear and buy something used with the 31** movement until Rolex decides to fix the issue. It’s virtually impossible to walk into an authorized Rolex dealer and buy any of the brand’s popular tool watches, to say nothing of its steel models. This scarcity contributes to value retention while, at the same time, aggravating watch lovers beyond belief.Rolex only makes around 2,500 Daytona Ceramic’s and 3,500 Pepsi’s per year and there are around 1M people who want them. To say there aren’t enough to go around is a gross understatement. Raising prices to grey levels would only double grey prices.
